I'm having problems using the Onyx Firewire card with my Mackie Onyx mixer and Digital Performer 4.5. Playback is very noise.
 
A:
DP 4.5 has a new feature in the Configure Hardware Driver window. Try changing the "Work Priority" from Highest to Lowest. This appears to help.
