Pro Audio Support

Q:
I'm using Digital Performer 4.5 and am having odd behavior with Spectrasonics' plugins

A:
Issues with using Spectrasonics plugins in Digital Performer 4.5:

Q: When I Bounce to Disk, my Spectrasonics plug-ins lose their settings.

A: This is a known issue and MOTU is currently working with Spectrasonics to resolve it. It does not affect their latest release, Stylus RMX.
One workaround is to save the project just before you bounce to disk, then after the bounce, use the revert to saved function under the file menu and your instrument's settings will be reloaded.

Q: When I instantiate a Spectrasonics instrument, I do not get any Audio.

A: This is a known issue and MOTU is currently working with Spectrasonics to resolve it. This does not affect their latest release, Stylus RMX.
This will only happen the first time you instantiate a Spectrasonics instrument after launching DP.
In order to make the instrument work, you must open and close the Configure Hardware Driver dialog.

Q: When I freeze my Spectrasonics instrument track, the plug-in loses it's settings.

A: This is a known issue with Digital Performer 4.51.
We have resolved the issue in Digital Performer 4.52 which can be downloaded from our Downloads page.
