Q:
What is ASIO?
A:
The ASIO protocol (Audio Streaming Input Output) is a professional audio, low-latency, high performance method for getting audio to and from a pro-audio interface and software. It offers very tight timing, latencies as low as 1.5ms to 3ms (although this is dependant on your system's capabilities). ASIO drivers are offered in most pro-audio software and is almost always the best method to choose if given the choice.
