Q:
How can I do an AES/EBU transfer with my 1224, 308, 1296, HD192, 896, or 896HD?
A:
Launch the PCI Audio Console.
* For the 1224 or 308, set Bank C to AES/EBU, and enable the input and output. If you are using the PCI-324 card, output is enabled by setting the pair's output to "From Computer". * For the 1296 or HD192, hit the "Interface Options" button, select a pair of analog inputs to "steal" for use as AES/EBU instead, and press OK. If you are using the 896 or 896HD: * The AES/EBU input and output is already configured and ready to use. Remember, whenever recording a AES/EBU source you must set the Clock Source that AES/EBU pair. Make sure the sample rate of your interface also matches the sample rate of the AES/EBU source. For details on sample rate coversion with AES/EBU, refer to your interface's manual.
