Getting a severe drop in plug-in count and performance with some Windows PC's using a Pentium 4 processor.

With Pro Tools 6.7 or earlier, Intel's HyperThreading technology must be disabled in the system BIOS. Not disabling HyperThreading on newer Pentium 4 based machines will result in a severe drop in plug-in count and performance. This is only on Pentium 4 - based machines at 2.4gHz or higher.
