Why is audio only coming out on one channel of my M-Audio FastTrack USB in my recording software? It does the same on playback?
 
A:
You are likely recording to a stereo track in your software, which is recording the Mic (XLR) input on the left and the line/instrument (1/4") input on the right. The best way to record from the FastTrackUSB is to record one or two mono tracks. You'll need to check with your software's documentation to find out how to do this.
