MOTU's PCI-424/G5 card works on nearly anycomputer with PCI slots including machines using PCI-X slots, HT Technology, and 64 bit processors. This newer type of PCI-424 card was released with all new MOTU systems starting around August of 2003.

To see if your card is compliant, look at the card itself. If you see three (3) sets of teeth and two (2) notches, the card will fit and work in your computer.

If you see two (2) sets of teeth and one (1) notch, the card is our older PCI-424 card.
If you have an older PCI-424 card and need to upgrade to the PCI-424/G5 card, you can contact MOTU's Upgrades department at 1 617 576 2760. If you purchased your PCI-424 Core System after July 1, 2003, you are eligible for a free trade-in. Otherwise, upgrading your card will be $99 USD.
