Q:
Is Steinberg Nuendo or Cubase (all versions) compatible with Intel Pentium 4 Hyperthreading Technology? Does it take advantage of its benefits?
A:
As of June 2005, the Steinberg products Nuendo and Cubase do not take advantage of Hyperthreading and are somewhat incompatible. There have been some problems identified with Hyperthreading and if you experience any strange problems, you should try disabling Hyperthreading to resolve them.
Nuendo and Cubase do, however, take advantage of multiple processors.
