When I launch Cubase in Mac OSX it unexpectedly quits

When I launch Cubase in Mac OSX it unexpectedly quits.

If you have Digidesign ProTools LE hardware (MBox, Digi002, Digi002R) turn the hardware off or disconnect it BEFORE launching Cubase. Once Cubase is running turn the Digidesign hardware back on (or reconnect it).
