How do I burn an audio CD on my Mac using iTunes?

First be sure the file you're wanting to burn is format supported by iTunes, such as Stereo Interleaved AIFF or Wav, mp3, AAC or Apple Looseless Encoded.

In iTunes create a new playlist by clicking the + button in the bottom left hand corner of the iTunes window.

Drag the files from your computer hard drive or from the iTunes Library.

Insert a blank CDR and click the Burn Disk button in the top right of the iTunes window.
