While launching, Pro Tools freezes when its splash screen gets to creating DAE Objects. A blank dialog with an "okay" button appears. Clicking okay, quits Pro Tools.

Trashing all the Digidesign Databases folders on each drive may solve the problem. In addition, trash the Pro Tools preferences, update to the latest version of PACE drivers (from paceap.com) and if necessary uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools. If connecting to a G5, try a different firewire port on the mac.
