Q:
MicroTrack 24/96: Fully charge the battery before first use!
A:
Before you use your new MicroTrack 24/96 for the first time, the internal rechargeable battery needs to be completely charged.
The MicroTrack 24/96 battery ships with only a minimal charge. If you fail to charge the battery fully before first use, you may limit the maximum record time of the MicroTrack 24/96. To charge the battery, follow the steps below: - Make sure the MicroTrack 24/96 is turned off. - Plug the smaller end of the supplied USB cable into the USB connector on the bottom of the MicroTrack 24/96. - Plug the large end of the USB cable into the supplied USB power supply. - Plug the USB power supply into a power outlet. - The battery indicator in the right upper corner of the LCD will be animated (repeatedly fills up from left to right) to indicate that the battery is currently being charged. - When the battery is fully charged, the battery indicator will be displayed solid (no more movement). - You can now disconnect the MicroTrack 24/96 from the USB cable.
