Q:
Is there a way to change the sensitivity on the pedals on the Roland PK-5?
A:
13 different dynamic (velocity) sensitivity curves can be selected on the PK-5. A different curve is assigned to each foot pedal. The curve with the highest value of dynamic sensitivity is assigned to foot pedal #0, while the curve with the lowest value is assigned to the foot pedal marked "C". Intermediary values
are assigned to pedals 1 through B. Use the following procedure to assign a dynamic sensitivity curve: 1. Turn the PK-5’s power OFF. 2. While pressing the desired foot pedal (0 through C), turn the power back ON.
