Q:
How do I select the UX1/UX2 DX or WAV driver in Live 4 and Live Lite 4 Line 6 Edition?
A:
WDM drivers can be tricky things. In some cases you have to force a connection or lock the sample and bit rates of the driver to match the program before it can find the driver. To do this:
Go to TonePort Control Panel Check the "Force GearBox/TonePort format" checkbox Set the combo boxes just below it to 44.1/16. Live should now be able to find the driver and connect to the device. An additional note here: the full feature set of the UX1 and UX2 under Windows is only available with the ASIO drivers. WDM doesn’t support the multiple I/Os and Dual Tone capability. We recommend that you use ASIO wherever possible.

I plugged an expression pedal into the pedal inputs on the UX2 to control the wah/volume. It doesn’t work Firepod, I cannot use my S/Pdif inputs/outputs I see the clip indicator light up when I’m turning down the drive. I don't understand the behavior of the meters on the UX1/UX2.
