What's the workaround to run the Mbox 2 on a 15" PowerBook?
A:
The "DigidesignMbox2MIDI.plugin" component from the /Library/Audio/MIDI_Drivers folder can be removed in order to reduce the power consumption of the Mbox 2 on a PowerBook 15".
This will disable the MIDI ports on your Mbox 2 but audio will be fine. duc.digidesign.com
