Q:
Atmosphere in ProToolsLE in Windows, where is the plug-in?
A:
In order for ProTools to "see" the RTAS version of Atmosphere
or Trilogy, you must use The RTAS Updater V1.2 and SpectraMove ( see below) from www.spectrasonics.net The RTAS Updater, can convert the Atmosphere .dll file (which is used in Cubase, Nuendo etc..) to a .dpm file which is what Protools Needs. SpectraMove is a small utility which allows Spectrasonics users that work within Windows to move Spectrasonics Virtual Instruments Data files to a different location on an internal or external hard drive, or repair their registry entries within Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP Home or Professional. (Run SpectraMove after you run the RTAS Updater. Note: Make sure you delete the .dll file that the 1.2 RTAS Updater places in the Protools Plug-in Folder. Only the .dpm folder needs to be there.
