Q:
DAE error -6101 "A CPU overload occured... try raising HW buffer size..." On a new Intel-based Mac with only two audio tracks in PTLE.
A:
In some cases having the DAE Playback buffer elevated to level 8 caused this. Changing this back to Level 2 (default) made this system work. This can be accessed in SETUP menu > Playback Engine.

I'm getting DAE -6 alternating with DAE -87 errors on my PC with Pro Tools 7. What does this mean? Why is my microphone oily? I am having trouble installing and registering EastWest Gold. How do you switch between CueMix Busses when controlling CueMix with a Mackie Control? I think that my ART preamp is "noisy." What could be wrong with it? |
