My Mac OS X host application freezes and gets glitchy when I insert the BBE Sonic Maximizer.
A:
There are two Mac version of the Sonic Maximizer. One is called the carbonized version, and this is what is compatible with OS X. The "uncarbonized" version is for OS 9. Sometimes on install in OS X, the uncarbonized version gets added to the same folder as the carbonized version, and this is what causes the glitchiness. Simply trash the uncarbonized version and restart you host application.
