Q:
Access Violation errors when launching Pro Tools 7.
A:
Access Violation errors may be caused by having incompatible plug-ins installed, especially older Waves plug-ins. Updating to the Pro Tools 7 compatible versions should fix the problem.
Check the Plug In Compatibility Grid ( www.digidesign.com )for the most up to date information on which plug in versions are compatible with Pro Tools 7.
