"Could not read installation package (file is corrupt?)" installing Vienna Instruments.

This can be caused by problems in DVD transfer services and speed. You can run msconfig and disable all unnecessary applications and services according to KB article #30969, or copy the contents of the DVD to the desktop and run the installer from there.
