I'd like to move the Virtual Guitarist 2 content folder to a second hard drive so it's not taking space on my Mac OSX drive.

The Virtual Guitarist 2 content folder is typically installed onto the Macitosh HD; in the Applications folder. Simply drag the entire 'content' folder over to a different hard drive to copy the folder.

After the copying is completed, you can delete the original folder on the system drive.

Open the Content folder in the new location and run the "Set Content Location" program. Follow the steps, allowing the program to run. This will tell Virtual Guitarist 2 where the new folder is located.
