How do I change the Song Protection on the Boss BR-600?

The Song Protect feature is a way that the user can protect the song so that it can not be recorded over or tampered with.

1) Press the UTILITY button and use the CURSOR buttons to select "Song Edit". Press the ENTER button.

2) Use the CURSOR buttons to select "protect" [PRTCT] and then press the ENTER button.

3) Use the TIME/VALUE dial to select "On" or "Off". The "On" setting will protect your song and the "Off" setting will allow the user to record and edit the song.
