Q:
How can I tell if my UM1Ex is installed? My Print Music (or Finale) does not show it in the "Midi Setup" window?
A:
Although the UM1ex does not come with a driver disk, WIndows
may install a generic driver for this. To Check: Go to your desktop, right click on "My Computer and choose "Manage" In the computer management window choose "Device Manager". Expand the Window, and look at the list. Go to "Sound Video and Game Controllers" Click on the "+" sign to the left of the speaker Icon. Look at the resulting list: Do you see the Edirol entry? If not go here: www.rolandus.com Download the driver and open the "ReadME" file for instructions.
