Try reloading the Preset or Kit (avoid triggering Strike while it's loading).

Try increasing the H/W Playback Buffer. 256 works on most systems, but slower computers might require a larger buffer. Mbox (1) systems should set the H/W Playback Buffer to 512 or higher.
