Q:
My computer is not recognizing the Lynx card. What could be wrong?
A:
Windows 2000/XP
Verify that the Lynx card is properly seated in a PCI slot. Download and run the latest firmware updater from the Lynx Support Website. Then try installing the driver. Check Windows Device Manager (Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the AES16 in Sound, Video and Game Controllers, then there is the possibility that the card is conflicting with another system device. Power down the computer and try placing the card into a different PCI slot to resolve the conflict. Run the ShowLynx (Available from www.lynxstudio.com) utility from a command prompt and email the resulting text file to Lynx technical support
