Q:
What is an ethernet crossover cable?
A:
A crossover cable is an ethernet cable where some of the data lines cross over other. Certain audio devices require the use of a crossover cable. The way to tell if a given ethernet cable is acrossover cable is to look at the colored cables on the plastic ends. If the color coding from left to right is different, the it is a crossover cable.
