Q:
Why I am getting timing issues and glitching when using bypass?
A:
Different applications react in various ways to bypassing a duende plug-in. This is due to the fact that there is an inherant latency in sending audio data to and from Duende using the firewire bus.
Rather than use the DAWs bypass button it is preferable to use the new 'Bypass All' button included in v1.2 and above of the Duende Channel. When this is used the audio is still passed through the channel but all processing is disabled. On the Bus Comp the 'Comp In' button can be used for latecy free bypass.
