When I first plug-in my IO 14/26 the Firewire indicator light doesn’t come on for about 20 seconds. Is there something wrong with it?

The IO’s need a few seconds to negotiate with and then connect to the computer. This is normal operation for all firewire devices (hard drives, cameras, etc)
