Q:
I hear noise through the IO 14/26’s outputs, why?
A:
Many notebook computers, and some desktop computers, do not properly ground their firewire power. This poor grounding may result in excessive noise. Use the included AC adapter in these cases. The noise problem should disappear. If youare on a laptop try running it on it's battery to eliminate the Laptop's
wall transformer as the culprit.
