How can I get an audio CD, MP3 or DVD to play out of my IO 14/26 on my Windows PC?

First install the driver. Then click the Start menu button. Click Control Panel. Double click Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on the Audio tab. Make sure Sound Playback default device set to “Alesis1394WDM audio.” Click APPLY. Now all Windows sound playback will use your interface.
