When using Pro Tools on an Intel based Mac, sections of the user interface have a yellow tint when they should be black.
A:
This occurs because the display is set to thousands of colors instead of millions.
How to correct this: 1) Click on the blue "Apple" icon and select "System Preferences". 2) Click on "Displays" under Hardware. The "Display" tab should be highlighted in the VGA display window. 3) Next to "Colors" select "Millions" from the pull-down menu. 4) Quit "System Preferences" and relaunch Pro Tools.
