Up to 2 parameters can be assigned to each axis of the Touchpad meaning a total of four controllers are available at the same time. This means you could assign filter frequency and delay time to the horizontal (x) axis and filter resonance and delay feedback to the vertical (y) axis (which would otherwise need to be assigned to four different pots and couldn’t be controlled simultaneously). With the ReMOTE SL, just one finger is required to modify all four! Also, as anyone who has used a Touchpad (like the Korg Kaos pad) knows, it is much more fun and expressive to control effects with a Touchpad than with pots and standard data entry controls. The Touchpad is a killer feature.
