Q:
Where are Liquid Mix snapshots saved on my PC?
A:
When running the LiquidMix installer, you can choose to install the LiquidMix Snapshots Library. This is a collection of LiquidMix compressor and EQ presets designed to get you up and running with some typical settings. The Snapshots are installed into your user's Application Data directory in a folder called LiquidMix. After running the isntaller, you can access the Snapshots directory from the Windows Start Menu. Go to:
Start>All Programs>Focusrite Liquid Mix>Shortcut to Snapshots This is a shortcut to C:\Documents and Settings\"yourusername"\Application Data\LiquidMix NOTE: The Application Data directory may be 'hidden' by default. To enable access to hidden folders, do the following: Within the Windows XP directory window, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Folder options..." Click the "View" tab and select "Show Hidden Files and Folders" from the options in the list. If you are using a non-English version of Windows XP or if you are running Windows XP on a drive other than the C: drive, the path to the emulations will be different. For example, if you are running the German version of Windows XP on a D: drive, it will be: D:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\"YOURUSERNAME"\Anwendungsdaten\LiquidMix
