EZdrummer is compatible with GarageBand 2 and 3 only. If you have an appropriate version of Apple's entry-level sequencer available, follow the instructions below:

1. Download the latest EZdrummer update (required for Intel based Mac).
2. Start GarageBand as per usual procedure.
3. Press Play then Stop in the transport to start the audio engine .
4. With a track selected, click the 'info' sign in the lower right-hand corner.
5. Click Details, then 'Generator.'
6. Choose 'EzDrummer' from the list.
7. To bring up the interface, click the 'Edit' button (pencil icon to the right).
