What can I do if the output level of my early-model Symetrix 528E suddenly becomes very noisy?
A:
Per Symetrix, here is how you can solve this issue:
1) Turn the power off. 2) Cut jfets Q2 and Q3 out of the circuit. This answer is also available here.
