Q:
How can this keyboard be switched to 220-230V for overseas use? (INTERNAL DOCUMENT ONLY, DO NOT PUBLISH ON WEB)
A:
1. On the back of the keyboard, remove the 5-6 black screws that attach the (red) panel to the (black) chassis.
2. On the bottom, look for offset screws that don't run underneath the keybed - remove them. 3. On the sides, remove all the screws EXCEPT the screw in the very rear. If you have a Stage or C1, there will be a few; all other keyboards will just have a front & rear screw. If it's a Stage compact, remove all the screws on the side. 4. Holding the sides of the keyboard, gently lift the panel up as if you're opening a car hood. If you meet with resistance, make sure you've removed the appropriate screws on the bottom. 5. Be careful not to let the panel pull the ribbon cables out. 6. Locate the power supply on the right, and flip the red switch from 115v to 230v. 7. Replace the panel, ensuring that the ribbon cables do not get caught under the support struts inside. 8. Replace all the screws. You might also want to tape some kind of note on the top or back (near the AC cable input) reminding you to switch it back to 115v when returning to the States.
