How do I color code my mixer channels in Protools LE
A:
1. Make sure you check “Setup/Preferences/Display/Color Coding/ and check the “Tracks and Midi Channels” Button under “Default Track Color Coding
2. Open your Mixer 3. At the bottom of Track 1 Double Click the Color Bar ( while holding the CNTRL CMD ALT keys ( on Windows ) (you will see the color chooser window..) 4 Select track one by clicking on the name “Audio1” 5. Make sure only one track is selected 6. Click on a color in the color chooser window and the track is now this color 7. To make multiple tracks a single color, simply multi-select as many tracks as you wish and choose a color.
