Q:
How do I uninstall or remove PLAY from my Mac?
A:
To uninstall a specific PLAY library or collection from your Mac, simply run the Uninstaller from DVD #1 of the Play collection you'd like to remove (ie, FabFour disc 1, Ministry of Rock disc 1, etc...).
If you own multiple libraries, some components will remain installed on your system until you have uninstalled all PLAY products. If you would like to COMPLETELY remove the PLAY program/sample engine, you must delete the following files/folders: Mac HD / Applications / East West / (PLAY product name) -Mac HD / Library / Application Support / East West folder -Mac HD / Library / Audio / Plug-ins / Components / PLAY.component -Mac HD / Library / Audio / Plug-ins / VST / PLAY.vst -Mac HD / User (your user name) / Library / Preferences / com.eastwest.Authorize.plist -Mac HD / User (your user name) / Library / Preferences / eastwest.PLAY.plist -Mac HD / Library / Receipts / PLAY_AU.pkg -Mac HD / Library / Receipts / PLAY_AuthTool.pkg -Mac HD / Library / Receipts / PLAY_Frameworks.pkg -Mac HD / Library / Receipts / PLAY_Standalone.pkg -Mac HD / Library / Receipts / PLAY_Support.pkg -Mac HD / Library / Receipts / PLAY_VST.pkg After deleting these files, empty the trash.
