Will my POD XT or X3 Live act as a MIDI foot controller?
A:
No. The PODXT Live was developed as a floor effect unit, not a MIDI controller. Although the PODXT Live will send MIDI messages to a third party MIDI device, it was never intended to be used as a MIDI controller so it is not supported in this capacity (as your results may vary). The CC's are often off by one or two values.
