Q:
How do I set up EZ Player Pro in ProTools, so I can use it for Superior Drums 2
A:
EZ player Pro requires ProTools version 7 or later. ( 7.3 or above is recommended)
Before you start make sure you know how to open Virtual Instrument in Protools.. Also make sure you have a Drum Sampler ( Superior Drums 2, BFD, Drum Core etc etc) 1. Inserting the plug-in: Create a Mono Instrument Track and insert the EZ Player Pro 2. Setting Up _ Create an Instrument Track with Superior Drums Inserted on it _ Enable the Instruments Section at the top of the Instrument Track so you can see the MIDI I/O _ Set the MIDI OUTPUT to Superior Drums _ Set the MIDI INPUT to EZplayer Pro _ Record-arm the MIDI Track where SuperiorDrums is. _ In EZ PLayer choose the right MIDI CH ( Match the MIdi Ch on the Superior Drum Track _ Select a groove in Ezplayer and press Play 3. Building a Drum Track _Once you have found the right groove, drag and drop the MIDI file right into the Instrument Track (in the EDIT window)that has Superior Drums 2 enabled. Then add additional grooves from EZPlayer Pro as needed.
