The MusicPad battery can develop a memory. The way to take care of that is to drain the battery completely by turning the MusicPad on and leaving it on until the battery is drained, then recharging it. Sometimes it takes 5 or 6 times before it "cures" the memory that the battery was developed for more of a backup system in case someone accidently kicked the power cord or turned off the power
source, but it should have at the very least a 2 hour reserve.
