First, try to repair the prebinding by running the script from Pace: www.paceap.com/prebind_script.dmg

If that does not help, this is a workaround that seems to be very effective:

Navigate to your Pro Tools Application in the Applications folder.

Right click on the App and choose, ‘Show Package Contents’

Open the Contents Folder, and then open the MacOS folder

Double click on the Pro Tools Icon that is in there.


You could then create an alias of that PT icon and put it on your desktop for future use.
