MESA System Requirements
A: M.E.S.A Editing Software Requirements The M.E.S.A. editing software has certain system requirements to insure compatibility. Currently M.E.S.A. is not compatible with PowerMac systems. PowerMac support should be available in the next version release. The current system requiremnts are as follows: 1.) 68030/40 Macs as well as AV models should be fine. The faster the clock speed the better. 2.) M.E.S.A requires at least System 7.1 to run, but System 7.5 or higher is better. 3.) Greater than 3Mb of free memory. 4.) 'Sound I/O Manager' software and a sound input device is required for sampling from CD. 5.)
