this all mentions PT, but according to robert campbell (he also does testing for s8pc) it's not compatible with the PC either.



1. The ADAT will not record when Pro Tools is the transport master. Instead, it goes into an "auto-record" mode, waiting for a punch-in cue that never arrives. It's possible there may be a workaround for this, but I couldn't find it.

2. PT and the ADAT together won't sync to incoming time code using the SSD. The ADAT flails for a while and then gives up.

3. The ADAT window feature assigning PT outputs to specific ADAT tracks is broken. Track 1 goes to 1, 2 to 5, 3 to 2, etc.
