With power off; press and hold the indicated buttons, turn power on, release keys

Drum time PLAY and STOP
Fast Wind time FFWD and STOP
Syscon Rom STOP, PLAY and REC
Servo ver REW, FF and STOP
Test Mode FFWD,STOP and PLAY, then, within 2 seconds push STOP

Banner Push and hold SHIFT then DOWN ARROW
Use UP and DOWN ARROWS to select letters, press SHIFT to save
selection. Press UP and DOWN simultaneously to complete procedure.

Oscillator SHIFT (LED will blink), UP/DOWN to scroll menu
ON = 440 Hz
2 = 1 kHz
3 = 10kHz
4 = White Noise
5 = Ramp Wave
Selected signal is sent to REC ENABLED channels and overides
inputs.

BLOCK ERROR RATE is always available. The VU meters are converted into Error Rate Meters

SHIFT then MENU
Continue to press MENU untill "bEr off"
Press UP arrow or DOWN Arrow to change display to "bEr on".
Press SHIFT.
Press Play.
The meters are configured as follows:

1 Tape Edge (head A)
2 Tape Edge (head B)\
3 (Not Used)
4 (Not Used)
5 Center of the tape (head A)
6 Center of the tape (head B)
7 (Not Used)
8 (Not Used)
