This upgrade should be performed at an authorized Service Center. Chips are sent on a individual basis when the DA78HR is here for service. They can be ordered in advance if a serial number is provided. Sales must allow for this when selling DA78 with a Mackie D8B customer. Units under 90 days old should be covered under warranty. Units older than 90 days will have to be cleared with TASCAM before covered under warranty. I don't expect any problem with this formality.
