There is a problem with sync/mmc between the current version of ProTools LE (5.0.1), OMS 2.3.8 andthe DTP.

Problem : Protools frequently loses MTC coming in from the DTP *when connected via Digi001 MIDI ports or via USB interfaces

Solution : If you have USB Mac (G4, Blue G3), use a Griffin G4port (or a GeeThree Stealth port).; connecte the DTP directly to the serial port & make sure that OMS detects the DTP (you shouldn't have to "create" the DTP) We have found that this eliminates the MTC dropout problem.

While Digidesign attributes this problem to OMS 2.3.8 and it's obsolesence, Logic and Digital Performer worked fine - BOTH using OMS.
