1) Go to the VX control panel, and set the latency to it's max! Yes you heard me right!!! In my experience, the 2.6.0 Asio works far better without trying to minimize the latencythere.........And as a matter of fact this is the only way that I made it really tight
> 2) In the audio and drivers window in LAPM, Simply set the playback delay to -500(it's max)! Don't touch anything else! This works for me! And very tight to! Only problem is if you wanna use software samplers/synths. Then you will have to set the latency in VXcontrol to min and reboot, but for recording midi, and the earlier described settings for audio!!!
