Q:
How fast a machine do I need to run GigaStudio or GigaSampler?
A:
Reports have said that a PIII-866 can sufficiently support all 160 voices of GigaStudio 160 with limited plugins, a PII-450 will support approximately 96 voices, so, depending on how many voices you wish to use (and remember there is an intelligent voice stealer for when you run out of polyphony it will decide which voice is the least important) you can judge accordingly on purchasing a computer.
