Q:
Q: How can I record MIDI data for the ES1 TDM?
A:
A: To play the ES1 TDM in realtime via a MIDI keyboard, you can insert it in a regular audio channel or in an audio auxiliary channel. We recommend that you always insert it in an audio auxiliary channel, as MIDI data can be recorded on its audio auxiliary track as if it were a regular MIDI track. To record MIDI data (notes and controller) select the corresponding audio auxiliary track and enable "record".
To reassign an audio object as an auxiliary object, click-hold on the "Cha" flip menu located in the audio object parameter box and select an auxiliary object. The audio object parameter box is available in both the Arrange and Environment windows. Note that the ES1 TDM has a mono audio output. As such, the auxiliary track object needs to be created as a mono object.
